With that being said, I’m still planning! My first event has been canceled which means I’ve got a little more time to prepare. I was really excited about this weeks event, but everyone could use a few more days of practice right? I am scheduled to play in the next SunCoast event which will be held June 8-10 at Forest Lake Golf Club in Ocoee,Fl. I will be sure and keep you all updated on any changes that may occur. I Have Arrived!
I FINALLY made it! After endless checklists from mom, packing too many things i'll never need and saying my tearful goodbyes; it all came down to the 10+ hour journey. I arrived Monday evening and have had a few days to get settled and acquainted with the area. My first event will take place May25th-27th at Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, Fl. I had a chance this week to play a practice round and the course is in great condition. The greens were a little slow, but I’m sure the speed will increase as players beginning arriving.
As for me, I will be getting as many rounds in as possible and continue working on my game. The countdown is on and I can’t wait! Looking forward to a productive week.
