Well, today was not so great. I carded a 79...Yuck! I started off slow, but quickly turned it around with back to back birdies on holes 6 and 7. The momentum quickly shifted when I bogeyed 8 and 9 to finish the front nine at 37. Once again, I was very disappointed with my performance on the back nine.
A few missed greens and putts lead to a back nine 42.
Of course I’m not thrilled with the outcome of this week, but will not give up! I know what I need to work on and am excited to face the challenge head on.
I have a few weeks off before my next event. I’ll be back on the links July 5th-7th at Stoneybrook West Golf Club in Winter Garden, FL.
I am very excited to be heading home for the next couple of weeks and spending much needed time with family and friends. Bama is definitely calling my name!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will keep you posted as the next event draws closer.
Happy Friday!

Round Two - Forest Lake Golf Club
Two words best used to describe today’s round, A Fight! The putts were not falling quite as friendly on the front nine today, but the back nine did not prove to be as difficult either. I shot a 76 with a 38 on the front and matched it with a 38 on the back.
It was quite a boring round. I managed fourteen pars alongside four bogeys. Everything I did seemed to be a struggle. I knew if I could just roll in one or two birdies I could’ve had the opportunity to finish with a decent round, but nothing seem to fall. I finished the day with no birdies and a very frustrated attitude towards my putter! (because it was definitely my equipments fault….lol)
BUT, on the bright side, I parred twelve and thirteen!
Tomorrow is the final round and once again I tee off very early.
Praying for putts to fall and lots of good sleep!

Round One - Forest Lake Golf Club
The tournament is under way! After an early wake up call this morning (4:30 a.m.) and a long drive to the course, I was thrilled to finally tee it up. I carded a 75 today and am pleased with the position I‘m in going into the next two rounds.
I started the morning off with a number of birdies on the front nine and made the turn at two under. The back nine proved to be a little more challenging. I made two great pars on holes ten and eleven, but found myself struggling on twelve. I tripled twelve and followed it up with a double on thirteen. Needless to say I knew that had to be a defining moment in my round. I was proud of the way I fought and finished the remaining five holes. I was able to stay focused and play it one shot at a time. In the end I parred the remaining holes on the back nine to shoot five over.
Tomorrow is looking like another early morning, but I can’t wait. I feel like I left a few putts out there today and am excited to get on the back nine and really see what I’m made of!
I can not thank everyone enough for all the encouraging thoughts and prayers this week. They are MUCH appreciated.
I’ll keep you posted!
