Well, today was a battle! As predicted the course was totally soaked for this mornings round. Extremely mushy accompanied with lots of mud...Yuck!!
I shot 39 on the front side after four bogeys and a birdie on the fifth hole.
Once I made the turn I struggled to get anything going. The putts were not falling quite as easily and neither were the good breaks. After a strand of bogeys, I was extremely frustrated to say the least.
Though the circumstances were not exactly what I envisioned I forced myself to move on from the previous shot and focus on the next. I played the last four holes at one under par to shoot 79 for the day.
I was proud of my finish, but see lots of improvements to be made in tomorrows round.
I tee of at 8:10 tomorrow, starting on #1.
Hoping for as little rain as possible tonight and a successful day tomorrow!
